What you can expect from the role

• Manage the lifecycle of the Plastic Consumables portfolio (Pipette tips and reservoirs), including product strategy, roadmap planning, pricing, portfolio optimization, and end-of-life decisions
• Utilize your knowledge of Plastics and/or laboratory processes to identify customer requirements and ensure we can address their evolving needs
• Conduct customer visits to gather insights and identify areas for product improvement, ensuring our solutions exceed customer expectations
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and guide product strategy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop new products and accessories, catering to emerging trends in the life science industry
• Support the creation of marketing content to effectively promote and support our existing and future consumable line
• Define and track business objectives, sales performance, and profitability of the consumables portfolio
• Coordinate and manage product launches and provide training and support to the sales organization to enable them to effectively promote and sell our consumables

What you offer

• Experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, or a comparable commercial role
• Basic scientific or technical education, preferably in Life Sciences
• Knowledge of plastics manufacturing, injection molding, or consumable product development is an advantage
• Exceptional business acumen to drive strategic decision-making for a successful product portfolio
• Application knowledge of laboratory workflows and liquid handling processes is an advantage
• A self-confident proactive personality paired with strong social and team skills
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 10% for customer visits, conferences, and project collaboration
