As Chief of Staff to the CTO, you will drive strategic alignment, governance and execution across the Technical Department. You help the management turn complexity into clarity, enabling better decision-making and sustainable performance in a safety-critical environment.
- Shape and drive the Technical Department's strategic agenda and long-term direction
- Lead business planning, performance oversight and enterprise-wide alignment and work in close collaboration with Financial, HR and other corporate Business Partners
- Strengthen governance, decision-making and execution excellence across the organization
- Translate complex strategic, financial and operational matters into clear executive decisions
- Align senior stakeholders and represent technical interests at Executive and Board level
- Act on behalf of the CTO in the strategic and commercial governance of key participations, engaging with Boards, executive leadership teams and external partners to drive informed decisions and long-term value creation.
- Foster an inclusive, diverse and equitable environment that drives collaboration, innovation and organizational performance
- A Master's degree in business administration, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred
- Exceptional strategic and financial judgement, including business planning, investment decisions and performance management, with the ability to drive clarity, alignment and executive decision-making
- Excellent communication skills in verbal and written form
- Credibility and influence to engage and challenge senior stakeholders constructively, coupled with excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver concise, decision-oriented content for Executive and Board audiences
- Track record of strengthening governance, accountability and organizational effectiveness
- Holistic Thinking: Connect strategic, operational and organizational perspectives to drive enterprise-wide alignment and sustainable outcomes
- Psychological Safety: Foster an inclusive, diverse and equitable environment where different perspectives are valued and people are empowered to contribute, challenge and innovate
- Professional fluency in English and German; strong working proficiency in French is highly desirable
