Digital Director (m/f/x)
Responsibilities
  • Partnership with IT: Work hand in hand with the IT department on platform architecture, systems integration, data models and security, from the definition of requirements through selection, implementation and continuous improvement. Bring the consumer and commercial perspective to technology decisions, translate business ambition into requirements IT can build against, and establish a shared roadmap, shared governance and shared success measures for the digital ecosystem.
  • Global ecommerce and digital ecosystem: Lead the development of a unified global ecommerce and digital ecosystem strategy, and drive the consolidation and standardisation of platforms, technologies and digital operations across regions. Refine digital customer journeys and conversion funnels to strengthen engagement, retention and sales performance.
  • CRM, loyalty and clientelling: Establish advanced CRM and lifecycle marketing capabilities across all global markets, and build a global loyalty and clientelling ecosystem that deepens customer retention and a sense of exclusivity. Introduce personalised digital engagement programmes that connect retail and digital data into a single view of the customer.
  • Social media and influencer engagement: Evolve social media from primarily aesthetic communication into a considered platform for engagement and community building, with the United States as lighthouse market. Develop a scalable global influencer and creator ecosystem, identifying trusted cigar experts, luxury lifestyle creators and cultural tastemakers whose voice is congruent with our brands.
  • Customer lifetime value: Build the means to follow and understand the complete customer journey across physical and digital channels. Develop segmentation and lifetime value models to identify and prioritise high-value consumers, and devise approaches that improve retention, repeat purchase and progression into premium collections.
  • Collaboration with the regions and commercial colleagues: Work closely with the regional marketing teams who activate the digital agenda in their markets, and with our commercial and retail colleagues, so that the ecosystem reflects the reality of each market. Agree shared standards, roadmaps and performance measures, and provide the tools and guidance that support them.
